The Metropolitan Police have arrested a 28-year-old man for alleged stoning of Nigel Farage in Yorkshire during the election campaign.
According to the police, the suspect was arrested based on a public order offense during the campaign.
The Reform UK leader was made a target once again when he was on top of a bus going for the campaign on Tuesday morning.
The assailant was said to have thrown a cup at Farage which missed him.
Shortly after the cup was thrown, another man also threw an object at Farage which also missed.
The man was apprehended by workers before he freed himself and later got rearrested by the police.
Speaking on the attack, Mr. Farage described the object as some wet cement Ada coffee.
