A goal assisted by De Bruyn for Phil Foden was enough to seal the whole points for the Blues, extending their lead at the top of the table to eight points behind Chelsea who sits at second place.
The win is Man city’s tenth straight victory in the league with their last defeat coming from Crystal palace back in October. Man city sits comfortably at the top entering into the new year with a match against Arsenal who sits at the fourth position.
