Impatient Tesla Fan Looking Forward to the Arrival of Cybertruck Builds a Lookalike

A Bosnian fan of both Ford Trucks and Elon Musk’s Tesla could not just sit on his hands waiting for his Cybertruck to be launched by the electric carmaker, scheduled from late 2021.
He got his own version of the futuristic vehicle instead. It took eight months for IT specialists and engineers at Igor Krezic’s Stark Solutions company to dismantle a rough Ford Raptor F-150 into its smallest parts and then turn it into a Cybertruck-like petrol-powered vehicle.
The first drive through the streets of Mostar’s southern town drew much interest, Mario Coric, the manager of the company, told Reuters.

“Everybody was watching and half of them thought we made a tank because people don’t know what the Cybertruck is. One girl even stopped and asked if this is the place where they are producing Tesla Cybertruck,” Coric said on Friday.
Though it does not look the same as the practical prototype of Cybertruck the pickup captures the spirit. Tesla and Ford gave no immediate comment.

“The owner wanted us to combine two opposite sides — Ford and Cyber — because he is a fan of both Tesla and Ford, so we merged two souls into one,” he said.

Coric said Stark Solutions was now attempting to register the pickup in order to be able to drive it on the roads but they were facing problems because in Bosnia sharp edges of vehicles like those seen on the Cybertruck are banned.
Tesla plans to develop its $1.1 billion Cybertruck factories near Austin, Texas, ending an intense rivalry with neighboring Oklahoma, announced in July by Musk, chief executive of the carmaker.
The Cybertruck looks like an articulated vehicle with a starting price of $39,000 and targets at the core of the lucrative truck company of Detroit automakers.
