Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi Warns US, Says "No Room for Compromise on Taiwan Issue"

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi Warns the US and said that there is one China in the world, Taiwan is an inseparable part of Chinese territory.

He continued “this is historical and legal fact and common understanding of international community”.

Wang also said that the two sides of the Taiwanese strait must be and surely be reunified, this is a track of history and will of the entire Chinese nation.

He continued to say that it will not and can’t be changed, the Chinese government’s resolve to safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity is rock firm. We have the capability to float separatist’s attempt for Taiwan Independence in whichever form.

One China principle is a political foundation of the China-US relationship a red line which shouldn’t be crossed Wang Yi said as he continued to warn that on Taiwan question, there is no room for compromise or concessions from the Chinese government. We hope the new US administration will appreciate the great sensitivity of the Taiwanese questions and will abide by the one-China principle and three Sino- US communique.

He also called the US to embarrass cooperation and non-interference in each other’s internal affairs, remove all restrictions put on China and avoid putting new ones.

US and China have been in disputes since 2018 when the Trump administration started a trade war against China which was followed by tech war, human rights violation accusations in Xinjiang, Tibet, and Hong Kong, increased tensions in the South China Sea and used Taiwan against China.
