U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham has condemned the International Court of Justice (ICJ) over their ruling urging Israel to stop operations in Gaza as the humanitarian situation worsens in the war-ridden area.
Graham accused the ICJ of an anti-Israel stance, saying the ICJ is abetting Hamas by using Palestinians as human shields to continue its terrorist acts.
The ICJ on its Friday decision by the 15-judge panel cited the “immense risk” to Palestinian civilians in ordering Israel to cease its military operations.
This marks the third time this year the ICJ has issued preliminary orders seeking to curb the escalating death toll and alleviate the worsening humanitarian crisis unfolding in Gaza.
Expressing disappointment over the ruling, Lindsey Graham on his official X account tweeted thus; “As far as I’m concerned, the ICJ can go to hell.
It is long past time to stand up to these so-called international justice organizations associated with the UN. Their anti-Israel bias is overwhelming.
The ICJ’s ruling that Israel should stop operations that are necessary to destroy four battalions of Hamas killers and terrorists – who use Palestinians as human shields – is ridiculous.
This will and should be ignored by Israel.”
He called upon Israel to ignore the ICJ ruling as he urged them to focus on the eradication of Hamas terrorists.
