The governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, expressed his condolences to the residents of Erin Ile on the passing of Oba AbdulGaniyu Ajibola Olusokun II, the Elerin of Erin Ile.
According to AbdulRazaq, the development marked the end of a glorious period.
Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the Emir of Ilorin and head of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs, also referred to Oba Ajibola’s passing as a colossal loss for both the nation and humanity at large.
The emir said that the late king served his people for 41 years with commitments, dedication, and a fear of God in his condolence message delivered by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, on Saturday.
