Former governor Danjuma Goje has been dismissed from the All Progressives Congress’s Kashere ward in Gombe State due to accusations of anti-party behavior.
Goje is an APC senator who represents Gombe Central and is currently running for re-election.
According to prior reports, Goje was scheduled to appear before a five-person panel with two weeks to investigate the accusations of anti-party activity made against him.
The senator representing Gombe South, Bulus Amos, and the representative for Yalmatu Deba Federal Constituency, Yunusa Abubakar, were both expelled from the APC after being under investigation for alleged anti-party activities.
The ward chairman, Tanimu Abdullahi, stated that the action against Goje was taken in response to several petitions alleging that he worked against the APC in the recently ended general elections when announcing the resolution of a 27-member Executives at UBEC Vocational School, Kashere, on Tuesday.
