The decision The All Progressives Congress has disbanded its Presidential Campaign Council, which was established in October to advocate for the election of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as president and Senator Kashim Shettima as his vice president in the run-up to the 2023 general election.
The PCC Director General, Governor Simon Lalong, and the council’s Secretary, James Faleke, all signed a statement that announced the dissolution.
Lalong commended the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (ret. ), for his unwavering backing of APC presidential candidate during the electioneering process.
Recall that on October 21, Abdullahi Adamu, the party’s national chairman, the APC governors, and other major figures attended the inauguration of the presidential campaign council under Buhari’s direction at the State House in Abuja.
