No fewer than 21 individuals were paraded by the Gombe State Police Command on Wednesday for suspected burglary, weapon possession, and criminal conspiracy.
Oqua Etim, the commissioner of police, parading the suspects at the command’s headquarters, reaffirmed his commitment to working with citizens to reduce crime in the state.
Etim, who was represented by Mahid Abubakar, the Public Relations Officer, claimed that the 21 suspects were each connected to a different crime and that 12 of them were still at large.
He revealed that Operation Hatara had secured their success in reducing the rising crime rate (a joint security outfit of the operation in the state).
