Oladipupo Adebutu, the candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State, has accused the All Progressives Congress of stuffing 14,000 votes into the voting machines on Saturday.
He claimed that the APC and its candidate, Governor Dapo Abiodun, carried out their plans in voting locations around the state by using violence and threats.
The Independent National Electoral Commission said on Sunday that Abiodun had received 276,298 votes, beating Adebutu’s total of 262,383 votes, to win the election.
At a news conference on Monday in Abeokuta, Adebutu declared that his party will check the ballots.
