NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Saturday accused China of escalating the war in Europe with its support for Russia’s Military operation in Ukraine.
Stoltenberg condemned China for playing games in Europe by trying to maintain good relationships with the West while also supporting Russia’s war in Europe.
He expanded further on China’s involvement in the conflict in Ukraine through an increase in technology sales to Russia which it used in producing missiles and other military equipment for its operation.
While condemning China for fueling the war in Europe, Stoltenberg said NATO is not ready to deploy troops to Ukraine or extend its air defense umbrella to Ukraine.
He added that NATO won’t be part of the conflict in Ukraine as he called for more support ammunition delivery, long-range weapons, and air defense systems to Ukraine.
Stoltenberg said that should President Putin be successful in Ukraine, it will open doors for more turbulence time in Europe which can lead to instability in the world in general.
