The competition authority in South Korea fined Google 42.1 billion won ($32 million) on Tuesday.
The business was penalized for utilizing its overwhelming market share to prevent the selling of video games on the competing One Store platform.
According to the South Korean Fair Trade Commission, Google and game developers entered into dubious contracts between June 2016 and April 2018 to ensure that their products were only available on Google Play.
The FTC claimed in a statement that Google had provided the game developers with specific marketing benefits in exchange.
