Enugu state governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi announced the executive committee of the Enugu sports club, under the chairmanship of Sir Nnanna Victor Atuonwu, yesterday.
Governor Ugwuanyi urged the club’s current leadership to continue to push the boundaries of unity, harmony, and growth by providing support and wise counsel to the new administration of Dr. Peter Ndubuisi mbah.
The governor congratulated the chairman and the members of the new executive committee of Enugu sports club on their emergence and encouraged them to re-dedicate themselves to the improvement of the club’s founding goals of providing top-notch sporting and recreational facilities.
Governor Ugwuanyi described the event as “a solemn one for me” and said it was the last inauguration of the club’s executive committee, which he served as the club’s president under the existing laws of the club and the 1999 constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria (as amended).
