China successfully launched a new communication satellite into space from the Xichang satellite launch center in northwest china’s Sichuan province.
Long March-2C carrier rocket launched the APSTAR-6E telecommunication satellite into planned orbit on Friday.
The satellite will be used mainly to provide high-throughput communication services for Southeast Asia.
This was the 460th Long March carrier rocket mission.
