The European Union (EU) said it is keen to work with the President-elect, Ahmed Bola Tinubu to build a mutually beneficial relationship with Nigeria.
The EU ambassador to Nigeria and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), Samuela Isopi, said this in Abuja on Tuesday during the celebration of Europe Day.
Isopi said the EU has always remained Nigeria’s biggest trading partner and the organization is eager to work with the new government for further gains
Meanwhile, only a few days ago, the Qatar-Nigeria Business Council (QNBC) through its president, Olu Millar, said it believes in Tinubu’s ability to bring his vast leadership experience to bear in tackling the challenges facing Nigeria.
Tinubu is set to take over from Muhammadu Buhari as Nigeria’s next president after inauguration on May 29, 2023.
