Attorney-General Justin Muturi wants a consolidated petition filed against the importation of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) to be heard and determined by a three-judge court.
AG muturi is also aiming the stage aside from orders issued by the High Court in December last year suspending the importation and distribution of GMOs in the country in the country.
Recall, the government ripped off the decade-old ban policy on GMOs in October last year in reaction to the drought that has slammed the country which In turn led to food insecurity and livestock deaths.
