Amidst the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine, President Zelenskyy has called on the U.S for supports including military reinforcement, in their bid to put the Russians invaders in check, source reported.
The request was made by President Zelenskyy on Friday in a news conference, where he said, he would be requesting for help including weapons from the U.S delegation. According to Zelenskyy, he said “They should not come here with empty hands”.
The U.S delegation to Ukraine is said to be led by U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin who are to meet with President Zelenskyy in ensuring their close bilateral relation, and continued support for the Kyiv against the Russians.
While the conflicts continue to linger, it’s imperative for the Ukraine government to request for aids and supports from major countries of the world in sustaining and curtailing Russia’s aggression.
While reports have it that, recurrent attack has been ongoing in Ukraine by the Russian forces who are eating deeper into the heart of the country capital, in order to have a full and overwhelmed control of the major Ukrainian cities.
While the conflicts had plunged millions refugee, the highest since the aftermath of the World War 2, sign of ending the conflicts soon remains at loggerhead as both parties are not ready to reach for a possible solution out of the crisis, while international community have been divided in line against the issue.
