Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick, a top Pentagon official, has expressed his criticism of the recent congressional UFO hearing, deeming the claims “insulting” to the hardworking employees dedicated to investigating such sightings. In a letter posted on his personal LinkedIn page and shared across social media, Kirkpatrick specifically targeted the testimony of retired Air Force Maj. David Grusch, which garnered attention worldwide and fueled the belief in extraterrestrial life.
During the hearing, Grusch asserted that the U.S. government had concealed a long-running program aimed at collecting and reverse-engineering “UAPs,” or unidentified aerial phenomena, the official term for UFOs. He mentioned the recovery of non-human “biologics” through “people with direct knowledge of the program.”
As the head of the Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), tasked with centralizing UAP investigations, Kirkpatrick voiced his concern about the hearing’s implications for the officers who joined the AARO. He emphasized that they are dedicated truth-seekers and that the portrayal of the investigation during the hearing did not reflect their intentions.
Pentagon spokeswoman Sue Gough refuted other allegations made by Grusch regarding harm or killings resulting from individuals providing information about UFO objects. She also denied any verifiable evidence supporting claims of possession or reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial materials.
Kirkpatrick emphasized that AARO has yet to find credible evidence supporting reverse engineering programs for non-human technology. He further addressed serious allegations of retaliation and potential murder connected to UFO information, asserting that law enforcement is an essential part of the AARO team to address such claims.
However, he pointed out that the central source of these allegations, which may include Grusch, has refused to cooperate with the AARO, hindering the investigation’s progress.
The situation has raised concerns about the validity of the claims made during the hearing and the need for comprehensive investigations into UFO reports. Grusch’s testimony and the subsequent reactions have sparked significant debate and scrutiny.
