The presidential election on Saturday has been compared by Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s nominee, to a march for Nigerian independence.
He emphasized that the poll gave Nigerians a vital chance to permanently reset and rebuild their country for the better.
Obi claimed that Nigeria was not lacking in the strong human capital required for effective government but rather was only plagued by the impunity of a few group of people who had mastered the dubious practice of “state capture.”
The Labour Party candidate underlined that matters of critical national interest needed to be addressed during a Zoom meeting with his supporters at the weekend.
