The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called upon the All Progressive Congress (APC) to tender a public apology from the ruling party over attempts to taint the image of its presidential aspirants.
This was contained in a statement released by the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization spokesperson, Kola Ologbondiyan on Wednesday in Abuja, saying attempt to blackmail Atiku’s reputation based on the false testimony of an alleged serial blackmailer, Mike Achimugu demand an apology.
Reacting to the call made by the APC Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council to disqualify Atiku, Ologbondiyan stressed that, should anyone be disqualified, it should be Tinubu, whose antecedent has been stained in corruption.
Kola Ologbondiyan stressed that the APC not only failed in smearing the reputation of Atiku but also exposed the engagement of Tinubu as the real Mr. SPV.
“Nigerians now know of how Tinubu has been desperately trying to divert attention from his alleged use of Alpha Beta Consulting Limited and Alpha Beta LPP, companies he reportedly owned by proxy, to loot #100bn tax money belonging to Lagos State, since 2002,” he said.
Ologbondiyan stated that it would be in the best interest of Bola Tinubu to come out clean on his corruption practices, and step down from the presidential race.
