The Muslim rights concern (muric) has urged the federal government to remove sex education from the basic education curriculum (bec).
This was revealed in a statement issued on Thursday by the chairman of the Kano state chapter of Muric, Malam Hassan sani indabawa.
The group condemned the media attack against Malam Adamu Adamu, the minister of education, for directing him to review and expunge all material related to sex education from the country’s BEC.
“We, on our part, have made it bold and clear that Nigerians of all faiths and cultures reject the united nations population fund (UNPF) and its partners’ comprehensive sexuality education (CSE), which is used worldwide to promote promiscuity, fornication, and homosexuality,” indabawa said. All of these points contradict our faith, tradition, and ideals.
