The Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, is working assiduously to ensure the country was fully connected with telecommunications services.
Prof. Umar Danbatta, the commission’s executive vice-chairman, said it was one of the commission’s duties and would not leave any inch unfulfilled when champion newspapers unveiled its heroes of 2002 at its annual awards in Lagos.
Danbatta, the paper’s most outstanding regulator of the year 2022, said the world had come to a point where it was almost a crime to deny anyone modern communications equipment that made life easier.
“We will make sure that all parts of Nigeria have access to communications services,” Danbatta said on this year’s world telecommunication and information society day, adding:
“We align with the theme of the world telecommunication and information society day to ensure that no part of the world is left without communications services.”
