Odinga has come out to described the presidential election result held in Kenya as parody and promised to challenge the result with all legal alternatives available following the declaration of his his close rival, William Ruto the winner of the election.
While speaking further on the close presidential election result, Odinga said:
“What we saw yesterday is a travesty and a blatant disregard of the Constitution,”
“We will pursue all legal and constitutional options available to us. We will do so in view of the many flaws in the elections,” he said, in his first address since the results were announced the day before”
The declaration of William Ruto as the winner of the election has lead to general public outcry in Kenya, while violence erupt in some parts of the country.
Despite the presidential election that was held on Tuesday was described as the most peaceful ever in the country, the announcement thus has led to unrest in the country.
