On Tuesday, Mr. Sullivan Chime, the former governor of Enugu State, denied claims that he received money from Mr. Peter Mbah of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to support him for the position of governor.
In response to the rumors, Chime stated that he supported Mbah, Chief Executive of Pinnacle Oil, because of his excellent background and skill.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) head in Enugu State, a former governor, declared his support for Mbah for the growth and development of the state.
He emphasized how the PDP governorship candidate would benefit the state more and said “I have examined the credentials of all the candidates and I am convinced that Mbah will perform better than the others.
“By March, I will be 64 years old and I want a good future for my grandchildren. With Mbah, the future of Enugu State is secured and assured’’
