NATO had formally put the invitation of Finland and Sweden to join the military organization after Turkey, on Tuesday withheld her objections and agreed to their membership bids, setting the line straight for their inclusion into NATO.
With the formal announcement of the two countries into the military organizations, the leaders of the alliances are expected to disclose the crucial strengthening of the troops along its eastern front, setting a strong foothold into the part of the continent.
With the announcement of both countries’ membership, it became apparent they intend to cut down the heightening influence of Russia on the eastern flank by setting up their military base, to checkmate Russia’s growing influence.
With the pledge of NATO’s chief for 300K troops on high vigilance in response to the Russian war in Ukraine, the political spectrum of the eastern side is on a new dimension, as NATO affirmed full protection of member states in case of any aggressive attacks from the Russian side.
The inclusion of Finland and Sweden into NATO has been met with high praise by the military alliances, with special reference to the acceptance of Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan whom the U.S. President had thanked for agreeing to allow both Finland and Sweden to join NATO.
President Joe Biden, particularly thanked his Turkish counterpart for what he did, putting together the situation between Finland and Sweden, and the incredible work he’s doing to get the grain out of Ukraine, Biden told Erdogan during the NATO summit in Madrid. Source from CNN relate.
