The group of developing countries also known as the D-8 in a special session of its Minister called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
The D-8 Ministers on Saturday during a special sitting urged Israel to stop its military operations in the besieged Gaza, emphasizing respect for International law.
The Council of Ministers appealed to global leaders to ensure Israel adhered to the ruling on Rafah by withdrawing immediately as demanded by the ICJ.
The D-8 in its official statement said, The D-8 Member States affirm their unwavering support to the struggle of the Palestinian people to realize their inalienable rights, the full membership of Palestine in the United Nations and all the resolutions related to the Palestinian Cause in international fora.”
While demanding a ceasefire, the Council of Ministers reiterated their commitment to ensuring all agreements to end the conflict are adhered to strictly.
