The National executive committee member, Mr. David Makhura of the African National Congress(ANC) said that the political party agreed to change the economic transformation strategies employed by the party.
The party’s economic transformation strategies ceased to function effectively as they were expected and the desired goals have not yet been achieved, hence most of the party’s policies had not succeeded.
Mr. Makhura was presenting the party’s strategy and tactics resolutions adopted at the ANC’s 55th national elective conference, which ended on Thursday night.
The governing body of the ANC’s failure to integrate women and young people into the economy was one of the reasons why the party agreed to change its economic transformation strategy.
The National Executive committee member, Makhura said that the party would embark on a series of consultative processes to determine which policies and tactics are best for the party.
