Russia’s defence ministry has increased the total number of its military officers killed in recent Ukraine attack to 89.
The incident happened at Russian-occupied Donetsk region, and Russian ministry blamed the attack on unauthorised use of mobile phones by its armed forces.
Russia’s earlier claims of of 63 deaths was already highly unusual as it marked the most significant loss of life from a single raid according by Moscow.
General Sergey Sevryukov, in a statement on Wednesday claims the number of dead body counted is 89 which is contrary to what was earlier reported.
Recall, Ukraine has earlier claimed that about 400 Russian soldiers were massacred .
