Former Speaker Dogara Defeated In His LGA By The PDP In Bauchi State

Yakubu Dogara, a former House of Representatives speaker, has lost the local government area of Bogoro to Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir, a PDP candidate for governor and the current governor of the state of Bauchi.

Abdulkadir defeated the APC and its gubernatorial candidate, who received a total of 10,436 votes, according to the results announced by INEC.

Meanwhile, in the Bogoro State Assembly Constituency, the PDP and Musa Nagwada received 13,934 votes, while the APC and Bulus Iliya, a former legislative aide to Yakubu Dogara, received 12,887 votes.
