Hours after being kidnapped, gunmen shot and killed Chisom Lennard, the All Progressives Congress Campaign Coordinator in the Ahead-west local government area of Rivers state.
The gunmen reportedly kidnapped Lennard while voting in ibagwa polling unit 2, ward 10 in ahoada west lga, according to reports.
The late APC chieftain was an estate surveyor and a former board member of the Greater Port Harcourt City Development Authority during the tenure of Rotimi Amaechi.
The state APC Publicity Secretary, Darlington Nwauju confirmed the incident meanwhile at the time of releasing the report, Mr. Iringe-Koko, the superintendent of police, had yet to make remarks.
