South Africa’s crypto investors in the Africrypt platform that has recently shut down have given to her investors back half of what they invest on the platform.
The payment was made by Pennython Project Management LLC to serve as a settlement offer in order to end the allegation against the Africrypts director of running away with the investor’s fund.
From information gathered from bitcoin.com, investors in Africrypt, a collapsed South African cryptocurrency investment platform, recently began receiving payouts from a so-called White Knight Investor.
While another report from itweb.com speculated the name of the Platform responsible for the disbursement of the fund to be Pennython project Management LLC.
Therefore, Africrypt investors have started seeing the payout after the investors had accepted to collect half of what they invested on the platform.
However, there are some factions among the investors who are not pleased with this half payment of their investment. While addressing the case, Ruann Kruger an attorney representing Africrypt provisional liquidators said that most of the investors accepted the proposal that in fact, a total of $8.4 million has been disbursed so far to investors.
