Amidst Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in the early hours of today, US President Joe Biden in a live telecast asserts that “The US is not going to Europe to fight, but are going to protect the interest of the member of NATO” which Ukraine is part of.
President Putin had initially termed the Russian Operation in Ukraine as “Operation demilitarization” in order to bring justice to those who had suffered persecution in Kyiv and likewise to put the perpetrator to book, he also reiterated that any country that tried to interfere would suffer drastic actions which had never been seen in history.
The actions of President Putin in Ukraine has been dubbed as action against humanity by the UN Sec General, and indulge President Putin to withdraw his troop from Ukraine, likewise, many world leaders have also reiterated the action of Russia in Ukraine as an unjustifiable event that has no basis of military incursion.
Most recent is the speech of the United States President, Joe Biden who alleges Putin of threatening world peace, and says that no US military forces would intervene in the ongoing crisis in Eastern Europe, but sanctions against the Russian government and Russian citizens instigating the war had started. He also references that, the Russian largest bank and other businesses in the US have been put on hold by his government.
His speech came immediately after many world leaders has condemned the actions, and sanctioned Russia, most notably were, the expulsion of Chelsea Owner Roman Abrahamovic from London, the Schalke O4 withdrawal of the Russian sponsorship, with many more promising sanctions to come against Russia.
