The US and Israel on Thursday concluded the biggest military exercise between both countries which took place in Israel and also at the Mediterranean Sea.
The military exercise tagged “Juniper Oak 23.2” is aimed at strengthening US’s ability to respond to contingencies in the region and also to reaffirm their commitment to the Middle East area.
During the military exercise, approximately 6,400 US troops and 1,400 Israeli troops participated in the drill, with over 140 aircraft, 12 naval vessels, high mobility artillery rocket systems, and multiple-launch rocket systems used during the exercise.
According to US Centcom, it discloses that the exercise will facilitate military operation between both nations, as also it will provide a soft ground for the US to rapidly move combat power into the region through the system in place.
Centcom’s commander, Gen. Michael Kurilla described it as a key pillar in their partnership with Israel.
“Our partnership is a key pillar of our commitment to expanding regional security cooperation,” he said.
