Ukraine’s first lady, Olena Zelenska led a host of delegates at the World Economic Forum session in Davos, Switzerland to pay a last respect to victims of a helicopter crash in Ukraine.
Zelenska described the incident as an unfortunate one, which comes after four days after a heavy Russian missile strike on an apartment building that led to the death of 45 civilians in southeast Ukraine.
“Another very sad day today – new losses,” she said.
The Economic Forum led by its president, Borge Brende requested 15 seconds of silence to honor the Ukrainian officials killed in the crash before opening the forum session.
The head of the Ukrainian presidential office Kyrylo Tymoshenko said the country hasn’t healed from the Russian attack that took place four days ago before another one struck the country.
No official report on the Russian connection to the crash, or reason for the crash.
