Police in Somalia says two suicide car bombers killed at least 10 people on Wednesday.
The attacks happened in the mahaas district in the Hiran region immediately after the dawn prayer. Police official Mahad Abdulle says the vehicles exploded in a neighborhood full of civilians and that at least 10 people were killed in the attacks.
The Al-Shabab Militants take responsibility for most of the attacks in the country including the recent attacks.
The Somali army, together with local militias, recently opened a key supply route to Mahaas after it had long been blockaded.
According to witnesses, several people were injured in the attack in the Hiran region among them were soldiers and journalists who were entrenched with them.
