The Federal Government has announced that areas around Eagle Square in Abuja, including the Federal Secretariat phases I, II, and III, as well as the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, would be blocked off from Friday, May 26, afternoon at 2pm until Tuesday, May 30, 2023.
According to a circular issued on Friday by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, (HoCSF), Folasade Yemi-Esan, the decision was made to safeguard the Eagle Square the site of the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s, inauguration and swearing-in.
