The United Nations (UN) Deputy Secretary-General, Amina Mohammed, has called on state governors in Nigeria to deliver on their campaign promises in order to build a more cohesive nation and a more harmonious world.
She highlighted four common areas where action and attention are urgently needed: institutional capacity, infrastructure, basic services, and social and economic development. The governors must prioritize, phase projects, and leverage on other partnerships in order to deliver better services, opportunities, safety, government, and a healthier environment.
