Tower Primary School in Oba has been closed by the governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, because to allegations of cheating on the 2023 Transition Placement Test.
After a meeting to look into the allegations of misbehavior made against Precious Chibuzo, a teacher with the Parent-Teacher Association who oversaw the exam at the Umuogali Community Primary School in Oba, the Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, made the announcement of the closure.
According to information obtained, the school’s proprietress allegedly entered the exam room undetected, colluded with the PTA teacher, took a picture of the question paper, answered the questions, and provided the applicants with the solutions.
Nnaemeka Egwuonwu, the ministry’s public relations officer, said in a statement that an inquiry by the ministry in response to complaints from students at Triumphant Cross School, Oba, found that the proprietress of the Tower Academy, Oba, colluded with the children in the misbehavior.
