According to Vietnam News Agency, US-owned company Starbucks plans to open the 100th store in the country by the end of the second quarter this year after a decade of operation in the country.
So far, 87 outlets are run by Starbucks across seven cities and provinces nationwide with 50 in HCMC and 24 in Hanoi which employs more than 1,000 people.
According to Starbucks CEO Vietnam, Patricia Marques, there are plenty of opportunities to continue growing in the market and more stores will continue to be opened to better serve customers in neighborhoods it visited.
Patricia says the company will strive to optimize costs by improving management capacity, human resource capacity, and operational efficiency in a market dominated by local Franchise brands.
Customers in Vietnam will have a chance to enjoy Starbucks Vietnam Da Lat coffee in September 2023 when the company celebrates 10 years.
