Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has issued a stern warning to the West as the allies change their policy over weapon delivery to Ukraine.
Peskov in a press statement describe the sudden change in the US policy as an affront to Russia’s territorial integrity, as he urge the United States to desist from arming Nazi armies in Ukraine.
“The sudden change in the US position on the supply of weapons to Ukraine’s terrorist Azov battalion indicates that Washington will stop at nothing to suppress Russia.
Washington is ready to flirt with neo-Nazis, which confirms the relevance of Russia’s concerns about the spread of neo-Nazi ideas”, Peskov announced.
He said the stance of Russia towards the Nazi ideology remains unchanged, and they’ll suppress the movement in Ukraine as done in Germany during the Second World War.
Peskov warned of global confrontation should the West persist in arming Ukraine in the fight against Russia, with President Putin saying Moscow is ready to go nuclear should the West persist in supporting Ukraine.
Russia has taken the war deep inside Ukraine, subjugating villages on the frontline.
A nuclear confrontation between Russia and NATO is expected in the next 10 years as the threat of nuclear war on the highest since the end of the Second World War.
