Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday, disclosed that no fewer than 100 witnesses will testify for him and the Party in their petition challenging the victory of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in the February 25, presidential election.

Chief Chris Uche SAN, lawyer representing Atiku and PDP at the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) said the anticipated 100 witnesses will include those already listed before the court and those to be subpoenaed.
Meanwhile, counsel to the Independent National Electoral Commission, Abubakar Mahmud SAN, said the commission is planning to call two witnesses to defend the outcome of the poll
On his part, the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, represented by Chief Wole Olanipekun, said he will be calling 39 witnesses to defend his victory in addition to those to be subpoenaed.
