Muhammad Adam Alkali, a lawmaker from plateau state, has urged the National emergency management agency (NEMA) to assist victims of the recent tanker accident in Jos.
According to Alkali, NEMA should provide some assistance to the business owners affected by the accident as a matter of urgency. While sympathizing with the families of the victims, the senator urged the federal road safety corps to increase efforts to ensure road safety.
The report shows that a tanker exploded on Thursday, killing people, and injuring many.
