The National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) warned users/consumers on Sunday that primezen black 6000mg, a male performance enhancement tablet, should be recalled from the market.
According to Mojisola Adeyeye, the Director-general of NAFDAC, volt candy was voluntarily recalling one lot of Primezen black 6000mg capsules alongside its 2000mg dose due to unknown ingredients used by their manufacturer in America.
“The recall came as a result of an investigation by the Food and drug administration (fda) of the united states of America, an FDA, which found that the thePrimezenn capsules contained undeclared tadalafil and sildenafil.
“Sildenafil and Tadalafil are pde-5) inhibitors used in FDA-approved drugs for the treatment of male erectile dysfunction.
“The presence of sildenafil and tadalafil in Primezen black 6000mg capsules makes them unapproved drugs for whom safety and effectiveness have not been determined and therefore, subject to recall.
The NAFDAC boss said that the lot Number: NPINPB 1003, UPC: 728175521891, the expiration date is Aug. 16, 2025, for PrimeZen Black 6000mg being marketed online as a dietary supplement for male enhancement and is packaged in a blister card with one capsule.
