No less than 35 people have been reported dead while dozens were injured as a fire affected a building in Kuwait on Wednesday.
The building affected by the fire is said to house over 200 foreign workers in Kuwait.
According to the Kuwait health ministry, 35 people have been confirmed dead while 43 people were casualties.
The forensic team has begun operations to identify the bodies of the deceased as the rescue operation is ongoing.
The Kuwait health ministry has raised alarm of further fatalities adding that the number of deaths is expected to increase.
Police have arrested and detained the owner of the building as the Kuwait officials begin an investigation into the cause of the fire outbreak.
The nationalities of the dead people remain undisclosed but the Indian Foreign Ministry revealed their citizens are among the victims of the fire accident.
