Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the Labour Party’s governorship candidate in Lagos State, urged residents on Wednesday to remain strong and keep their hopes alive in the face of attacks and intimidation following the state’s presidential and National Assembly elections.
During a press conference, Rhodes-Vivour, who thanked Lagosians for their support during Saturday’s election, said the votes of the party’s supporters within and outside the state retired some members of the status quo despite the powers that be’s efforts to truncate it.
