On Saturday, February 25, 2023, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC in Adamawa State has stated that it is prepared to conduct presidential elections.
Barrister Hudu Yunusa Ari, the resident electoral commissioner in charge of the state, spoke to journalists in Yola about the readiness of the commission and revealed that a total of 17,812 people had been hired for the exercise in the state.
275 BVAS are still anticipated as a backup, according to Ari, who also revealed that 4,104 Bimodal Voter Accreditation Systems have already been received for the state’s general elections in 2023.
