The Group of Seven leaders also known as the G7 has pledged an unconditional support of military aid worth $50 billion to Ukraine amid intensive Russia operation in Kyiv.
The G7 poised to meet in Italy on Thursday has reaffirmed their commitment to the security interest of Ukraine by helping them win the war against Russia.
The democratic blocs have also agreed on giving the interest on Russian frozen assets worth $260 billion in member-states as a loan to help in rebuilding Ukraine.
During the G7 summit, many expectations are expected as President Biden will sign a security pact with Zelensky where the United States will provide all needed support to Ukraine.
Though the United States will be signing a security pact with Ukraine, President Biden has drawn a red line over the intervention of US troops in Ukraine, saying their troops won’t participate in the conflict to avoid global confrontation with Russia.
The British government under the leadership of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will also announce a non-military aid worth $310 million to Ukraine which will be directed towards energy and stabilization needs in Ukraine.
Germany Chancellor Olaf Scholz has also pledged military support for Kyiv with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron who advocated for the change of the ally’s stand on aid to Ukraine.
Amid the G7 conflict, the proposal of the allies would prove fatal to Russia which has renewed its military operations in Ukraine as the Kyiv forces will be armed with modern weapons to hit targets in Moscow.
