The Chinese police on Tuesday arrested the suspect responsible for the stabbing of four American teachers in China.
The assailant stabbed the college teachers at a public park in northeast China.
The suspect has been identified as a 55-year-old man Mr. Cui who also injured a Chinese national during the incident, China media report.
The victims have been rushed to the hospital for medical attention as China described the attack as an isolated incident and won’t affect the diplomatic ties between China and the USA.
In a statement released by the foreign ministry spokesperson, Lin Jian over the incident said, the wounded are in hospital receiving treatment, and none of them are in danger of losing their life.
The United States government has expressed dissatisfaction over the incident, with the White House saying it was deeply concerned by the attack.
The victim worked as an instructor at Iowa Cornell College.
