Kenyan authorities have commenced conducting autopsies on more than 100 deceased members of a religious group who chose to starve themselves to death.
On Monday, investigators unearthed the remains of 10 minors and discovered indications of malnutrition and, in certain instances, suffocation.
The sect, which is founded on Christian beliefs, was established by Paul Mackenzie Nthenge, a former taxi driver who has been in police custody since April 14th.According to the Kenyan Red Cross, more than 300 people have been reported missing.
On Sunday, Kenyan President William Ruto said he would appoint a judicial commission of inquiry this week to investigate the tragedy.
