Arab and Islamic countries and organizations have released statements expressing their condemnation of the Israeli bombing of the headquarters of the Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza. Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, and Jordan, as well as the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, have all joined in condemning the Israeli airstrikes on the committee’s headquarters, which plays a crucial role in Gaza’s reconstruction efforts.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry earlier denounced the Israeli bombing as a blatant act of aggression, criticizing it as part of the occupation’s strategy to target innocent civilians, hospitals, and refugee shelters. Qatar called on Israel to stop providing false justifications and misleading information to justify these attacks.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry’s statement also condemned the occupation forces’ aggression, expressing solidarity with Qatar and urging the international community to intervene and stop the violations committed by the Israeli authorities.
The UAE strongly condemned the Israeli attack, emphasizing the urgent need for a cease-fire to prevent further loss of life.
The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry described the bombing as a crime and a heinous act, calling on the international community to take immediate action against Israel’s transparent pretexts and exposed lies.
The Omani Foreign Ministry expressed condemnation for the bombing, standing in solidarity with Qatar and emphasizing that this attack is a clear violation of international law, adding to Israel’s already brutal aggression against the Palestinian people.
Egypt also condemned the targeting of the headquarters, considering it another blatant violation by Israel and showing solidarity with Qatar against this atrocious attack.
Jordan’s Foreign Ministry labeled the Israeli bombing a reprehensible war crime and an addition to Israel’s long list of criminal actions.
At the organizational level, Jassim Al-Budaiwi, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, condemned the Israeli bombing, citing it as further evidence of the occupation forces’ brutality and recklessness.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemned the attack on the headquarters, highlighting it as part of the ongoing military aggression against Palestinian civilians and infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.
